Chef Naotaka Takuhisa’s love for his home country, culture and passion for cooking; encouraged him to become a professional chef, focusing on Japanese cuisine. His study time in Saga Japanese Culinary Prefecture Center, Japan inspired and developed his interest even more in the culinary field, to pursue a professional career. After finishing his education, Chef Taka embarked on his culinary journey at prestigious dining establishment in the Middle East and Asia. He worked at five-star Japanese restaurants in Bahrain, Dubai, Thailand and Japan for more than 24 years. His years of experience has now brought him to Jakarta to lead the kitchen at Nishimura at Shangri La Hotel, Jakarta.
